Luigi Santangelo is founding partner of SGA – Santangelo Gittardi Avvocati.
From 2016 to 2024 he was a partner of Luca Santa Maria e Associati, where he worked from 2007.
He offers judicial and extrajudicial assistance to companies and individuals for issues of corporate criminal law, environmental criminal law and workers’ health and safety, also dealing with cybercrime, medical liability and corporate liability.
Since 2022, he has been serving as Lecturer of the Giorgio Marinucci Postgraduate Course in Criminal Law at the University of Milan.
From 2008 to 2014, he collaborated with Prof. Francesco Viganò, Full Professor of Criminal Law at the University of Milan and Judge of the Constitutional Court.
He attended the advanced course for company lawyers at the Bocconi University.
He has worked as an editor on the Diritto Penale Contemporaneo law review, in which he has published various articles, principally regarding corporate criminal liability.
He has also co-edited the Rivista Italiana di Diritto e Procedura Penale, reviewing rulings of the European Court of Human Rights.
He has held lectures in courses on administrative liability.
He has a good knowledge of English.
